Mersiv Remixes Superheaven’s “Youngest Daughter” For New Single

Mersiv’s latest single is an official remix of Superheaven’s cult-classic alternative track “Youngest Daughter.” This remix draws from his nu-metal and alternative rock influences and his Superheaven fandom. Mersiv was a big fan of bands like Seether and Tool growing up, and you can feel his reverence for the hard rock genre in this remix. The deep, distorted bass only brings attention to the best parts of “Youngest Daughter.” At its core, this bass remix still sounds like a modern-day hard rock song, almost like Sleep Tolken. If this song were played on Sirius XM’s Octane satellite radio station, it would sound right at home.

Mersiv x Superheaven

“This is my favorite Superheaven song, and I decided to remix it during the summer of 2025 while I was at the beach writing music. I’m so grateful this is coming out as an official remix,” Mersiv said.

Mersiv, born Anderson Benoit Gallego, has developed one of the most distinct styles in the bass music genre. His upcoming headlining show, Mersiv Rocks 444: Terraform at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, shows how far Gallego has come as a DJ and producer. Fans show up for his immersive production style and ever-improving DJ skills. You can catch him this summer at festivals like Apocalypse: Zombie Land, Bass Canyon, and Seven Stars. Tickets for all of those shows are on sale now!
